The Play-Doh Center is a great center or activity for young students. It gives kids an engaging and tactile way to practice their words. To use this center, students take cookie cutters, Play-Doh, and the recording sheet to a set spot in the room. The students use cookie cutters to cut out the letters for the words. Then, after making the sight words with play-doh, they write the word in the box, and then they either write a sentence or draw a "quick pic" (a super quick, not too detailed picture). This activity is free, so download if you can use it! Please leave feedback if you're able to. :-)
