This is a modified jumble activity to re-inforce a previous lesson on the basics of the plot graph.
Several plot points from the Disney version of Cinderella are mixed up. Students are to cut them out and paste them into the most logical section of the plot graph (introduction, crisis, rising action, climax, falling action, denoument).
I have the students do the cut and paste activity on a large piece of chart paper to be posted after marking.
Also included is a copy of the Brother's Grimm version of Cinderella (the students love the blood and gore at the end!). The follow up activity I use is to have them choose the important plot events to use in each section of the plot graph. They then create a plot graph for the story on large paper, also to be posted after marking.

I am in the midst of my sixth year teaching at the highschool level. My subjects include junior and senior English, the Social Sciences and Canadian Law although I will teach whatever they send my way!
