--Plot Map -Organize events of a story.
--Plot Summary Frame - Complete a summary of events based on the plot map.
--Plot Summary: Business Letter Frame- Write a formal letter about a story.

Graphic organizers act as scaffolding tools to move students from less cognitively demanding tasks to more cognitively demanding activities. The beauty of graphic organizers is they need not be extensive or difficult to increase student learning.
