This 1-page worksheet is an attractive "mountain shaped" plot arch that students can use to take notes on a story, or to prewrite a story that they are going to write. The Plot Map works best when teaching students the 5 parts of a plot - exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.

As a New York State teacher of 6 years, I have come to truly understand the requirements of modern-day education. Currently a high school teacher of grades 9,11, 12, I do have experience in grades 6, 7, and 8.
