Students cut and create a "pocket" out of construction or scrapbook paper and then fill it with polygons. This 9 page file includes pictures of completed project. This could also be a great alternative assessment for a geometry unit.
cute idea - I love that they make their own manipulatives to practice with and search for - that would be a cool addition - a recording sheet to take this home and go on a "polygon hunt". :)
