This assignment requires small groups of students to analyze two different poems by the same poet. Included in the file are an assignment explanation sheet, a grading scale, and two worksheets that guide students through a general analysis of each poem. The assignment could easily be adapted for independent work, or expanded to include more than 2 poems.
