This month’s book project will be completed mostly in class. Homework may be assigned in order to finish the project, i.e. write/type final drafts, add illustrations, etc. You will be introduced to each of the poetry styles in class and you will write most of your poems in class. Keep your example sheets to help you remember the rules for each type of poem. These will be kept with all written poems in your poem folder.

Hello! I have been an elementary teacher for six years. My first year, I taught math and computers to third, fourth, and fifth graders. I have spent the last three years teaching fourth grade and fifth grade. I am loving every minute of it. I have also worked in a pre-kindergarten class for three years.
