This is a poetry project that I have my students complete as we study poetry. The project contains guidelines, a rubric, directions for a figurative language foldable, a student reflection form, and a poetry analysis form. Students work on the project independently as we study various poems/poets in class. I'm always amazed at the projects I get!

I just downloaded the poetry project. What do you have the students put in the figurative language foldable?

I have them write the type of figurative language on the flap. Then, on the inside, they write a definition and provide an example. They can also add illustrations if it helps them remember the figurative language better. I hope this answers your question!
