This is a unit-within-a-unit type of thing. Usually when I teach poetry, i allow a week or two for students to research their own forms of poetry and then teach it to the class. It can be great fun! These files are from that portion of the unit.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
7 years of successful teaching in the Public High School system in NYC. While there, I have taught English to 9th, 10th and 11th graders. In addition I have taught courses in SAT Prep, Media Studies. Digital Photography, Screenwriting and Music Theory. Over the years I have developed a reputation for creative lesson plans, passionate instruction, and excellent classroom management skills.
