The polka dot word wall cards in this 51 packet will add a fun and bright focus to your classroom. The download contains 360 words. This packet contains 204 words from Fry's high frequency list, these are high frequency sight words. The rest of the words are buyer requested cards, which include color and number words. The packet also contains 8 blank cards. I have now included a link for editable word cards in Power Point and I zipped in the Word file.

I just bought your word wall words and they are way too small. Is there anyway to make them bigger? Maybe 3 or 4 to a page? They go above my lockers and it's just too small to read if you get more than 4 ft away. I'm not very tech savy, so is there anything that I can do to fix the problem? Also, the 8 empty cards are the classic colors (blue, red, etc.) and the set I downloaded is neon. How do I get that color?

Hi, I just downloaded the zipped packet and the blank Word version of the cards are in neon. Check the folder you unzipped. Also, the thumbnails for the word wall cards shows them with 8 per page. I am sorry I cannot make them larger, that would mean days of editing the packet. It is not a simple fix. You can try increasing the percentage you print at, but this will cut off words. I let my students use clip boards to go up to the word wall to copy down words.

No, you cannot type over other words, just make your own on the blank pages. You can just print those pages more than one time and change the words.

I put a screen shot in power point add text boxes and then save it. I make a folder on my desk top and drag the pdf file and the powerpoint file to it. Then I right click and zip the file.

Hi Erica, I purchased the polka dot word wall words. I am able to open the document and it looks great. The problem is printing. While printing the file will say it is flattening and because it is such a large PDF it takes very long. I started to print one page at a time but even that takes very long. Any advice? Thank you

You would have to Google what to do for your specific computer and printer. You probably need more memory on your computer.

Hi Erica I love the polka dots, have bought almost all of our stuff for my classroom. A lot of the words are site words which are hard to spell and might be good to have up. It is editable so you can make your own words, too. If I were you I would check out what Amanda Nickerson of One Extra Degree does first or even Ladybug Teacher Files does for word walls. I don't know what you really need for third grade and I don't want to give you the wrong advice.

Currently, however, when I go to your google docs to save the document the primary one is the document that comes up. Where do I go from there to get the brighter color borders? If you click around the file the right set should come up. For some reason the old link is layered under the new one. I did bundle in the Word file to make it easier. Re-download if you don't have it.

You would have to re-type all the words in your font. I use this set in my classroom and think it is fine.
I have the black and white set in my store that has the basic font if you prefer.
Next year, I will probably update with both font choices for the bright and primary sets...but I am way too busy now.

Hello! I love this word wall set and am going to purchase it but was wondering how big they are? Are they each the size of about an index card or smaller? I purchased some from another seller and they were way too small for first graders you could barely see them. I really love yours and hope they are big enough to see on my word wall. Also, I have a macbook will I be able to open these compressed files. I never have before and not sure how that works.

I downloaded the word wall labels also. But, on the word wall words file, I clicked on step 3 where it says "click here to download the powerpoint file into GoogleDocs." When I click that, it takes me to googledocs, but I can't save it- only view it.

Hello Erica...I recently purchased the Polka Dot word wall words, and the Polka Dot word wall labels. I noticed after downloading that the word wall labels are in a font that does not work with our Kindergarten writing curriculum. I LOVE the word wall cards, and I look forward to using them, but I was wondering if I could get a refund for the labels only.

You will have to contact TpT. I don't get instantly paid for purchases and they take a percentage of my sale. I also doubt they do refunds for digital downloads.
What I can do for you is promise that when I have time, I will add a simple font version to the packet (Burst My Bubble) and then you can re-download the updated file. I just have a few more products I need to finish before I go back and take custom requests.

Yes, blank ones are included. Hold off on purchasing for a few days. I am working on updating it. Or purchase and don't print until I update. You can re-download for any updates.

No, I don't. I save all my personal pdf files in Google.docs. That way they don't take up space on my computer and I can print them from school. I also write for Scholastic and have two teacher resource books out now, just look up my name on Amazon.com.

That has never happened before, but go to your purchases page and click to download the newest adobe. I have a Mac and even I have to open most TpT files using Adobe or else I see black bars on the pdf pages.
