Pop a Top Reading Log and Parent Letter Beginning of Year
Meeting Common Core Reading Standards by having students practice reading at home to help them progress towards reading at their grade level by the end of the school year or higher.
Included is a parent letter describing a fun and innovative reading program in which students record minutes they read outside of school on a reading log. If they meet their goal for the month, they are allowed to bring a pop into class! We send this home at the beginning of the year. The parents are always amazed at how their child's reading increases with this program!
