This is a fun little song I sing with my students before they go off to do their independent writing each day. After I teach our minilesson, we all join in and sing "Let's Write a Story" as we're walking back to our seats to start our work. (Tune: Frosty the Snowman)
You can enlarge the words by writing the song on chart paper or send it off to be printed poster-size. The kids will learn it in no time... happy writing! :)
