This math game focuses on students verbalizing the strategies they use to solve addition problems. The strategies targeted are:
* Doubles
* Near Doubles
* Making Ten
The math talk cards provide a sentence frame that will aid your students as they
practice this skill. I also provided a double ten-frame mat so students who need the extra
scaffolding can use counters to help them make ten. You will need to provide 20 red and yellow counters and 24 gold pieces (or more counters.)
