This 23-slide power point presentation attempts to provide the abbreviated version of the events leading to the start of the Civil War. It begins by outline some of the races that occurred for populating the west as well as the compromises that were created to keep a "balance" in the United States. It continues by touching upon some of the Acts that were passed and even the tumultuous actions of the supporters from both sides. The powerpoint also illuminates the role of Lincoln and his presidential campaign (victory) that would force the South to secede. It concludes by describing the event that would break the camel's back and start the Civil War.
