Here is a fun and engaging prefix (re-,pre-,mis-) matching game! This activity can be used as a whole or small group reading lesson. It could also be used as a literacy center or partner game. A recording sheet is also included for students to write the word, prefix, and definition.
Just print up the cards in as many sets as you need and laminate them for durability. The students play by turning all the cards face down and then picking two to find a word and its definition. If a match is found the students record it on the provided handout. If no match is found the cards are flipped back over and process is repeated.

This is great when students are first learning prefixes. I also think it would be handy to have the definitions NOT next to the correct word, that way the kids could cut some of them out and match them on their own without already seeing the "answers".
