These are really thorough and helpful. I just wish I hadn't bought the bundled set, some of them are way too hard for my grade level. I needed to be more careful...buyer beware!

I downloaded the affixes/root word bundle, but it appears as though the two sets of word root task cards are the same. I was hoping this set would include the set with brown letters on the cover. Can you show me the difference in the two word root sets included in this bundle?

Wow, thanks so much for telling me. I don't know how I managed to bundle the wrong set - or rather the right set twice. In any case, I have remade the zip file with both of the Roots task card sets and uploaded them to the site, so you should be able to download the new file.

Most of my teaching experience is with gifted and talented students in grades 2-4, though I have worked with children of all ages in general education classrooms as well. A few years ago I stopped teaching in order to write nonfiction children's books full time. Gradually over the last couple of years, my career has switched from writing to creating teaching materials here on Teacher Pay Teacher. I love creating teaching products (most recently task cards) and feel just as passionate about my work now as I did when I was teaching.
