Pregnancy Education Project (Parenting, Child Development)

In this project students create a hypothetical pregnancy education event. It gives step by step teacher instructions for completing it with students and includes student instructions, student worksheets, and a grading rubric as well as extensions. Touches on topics: parenting strategies, budget, schedule, community contacts, presentation skills, using resources.

This project meets FACS National Standards (they are listed in the document). This project can be completed individually or in pairs/groups. Great for use in a Parenting class.

Students will be reviewing content that they have studied and creating a 'product' in which they could educate others about the content.
