This is a 2 part lesson getting students to think about and discuss prejudice and stereotypes. Students break up into groups to create and act out a skit inspired about a scenario they receive. Students watch the skits and keep lists of the stereotypes they notice for a class discussion.

Subject Area:
7 years of successful teaching in the Public High School system in NYC. While there, I have taught English to 9th, 10th and 11th graders. In addition I have taught courses in SAT Prep, Media Studies. Digital Photography, Screenwriting and Music Theory. Over the years I have developed a reputation for creative lesson plans, passionate instruction, and excellent classroom management skills.
