Students find the theme of this work fascinating, to be young forever. Here they can role play, discuss this and related topics, learn about the Ft. of Youth, do interactive activities, and be tested. Answer key included.
I love this story, and was looking for a way for the kids to complete it meaningfully while I was out sick. It wasn't complete, and it wasn't easy for the sub to use.
Hello, Barb,
I'm sorry that you were out due to illness and I'm also sorry that your sub found this activity too difficult to use. I went back and checked what was posted and found 11 pages of materials for this activity: a complete script for the play, 23 multiple choise questions with answer key; 2 pages of suggested activities and discussion questions. The story was accurate. The quesitons and suggested activities were practical and the discussions were thorough. I believe that the questions and activities were also quite clearly written.
I fail to see how it was not complete and was difficult to use. The students got to read the script, re-enact if if the sub so chose to do so, discuss the ideas that the author presented, and take a test on it or just go over the questions for better understanding.
If the number of pages and activities that you received differ from the above, please let me know at vpgardenia@comcast.net I hope you will find activities in my store to be more to your liking.
