This is a math activity that is designed to teach the skills of doubles facts and doubles plus one. This game is aligned with the Common Core mathematical standards. Students will match doubles, doubles plus one, and doubles plus two addition problems with the appropriate sum. Finally, they must sort their matches by how they solved the problem (doubles, doubles plus one, and doubles plus two).
