This is part five of a five part lecture on Presidential Roles. It complements HOLT"S AMERICAN GOVERNMENT, chapter 7, section one. The lectures can also be used independent of the Holt text. Most government and civics classes consider the multi-faceted roles of the presidency. The examples I use in the lecture are original, and my lecture is based on my experience teaching governemnt from four different texts.
The free preview contains part one of the lecture and the other four parts are also available for $1.25 at my store. The students in my class like the opportunity to pause, replay, etc. while taking notes on this material.
These lectures would also be very useful to absent students.
