An internet scavenger hunt allows students to use educational websites in order to explore their standards. This scavenger hunt allows students to explore websites in order to answer questions about important people in Georgia's history, including: James Oglethorpe, Tomochichi, Mary Musgrove, Sequoyah, Jackie Robinson, Martin Luther King JR., Jimmy Carter and Ray Charles. These can be done at school, or at home, independently, in groups, with a teacher or parent, in many different ways to fit the needs of your students. Saved in a .doc format to allow students to type in their answers. Don't want students to type in their answers, print them out and students can easily write in answers. Either way, students explore websites and find answers to content questions.

I currently teach a mixed age class of 3rd and 4th graders at the International School of Morocco. Previously, I have taught 1st grade and 3rd grade, as well as teaching all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia. I have taught both high income and low-income school students, and find that no matter where I teach, most kids need to look at every problem from 12 different angles. Although it is challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.
