This download is for 72 classroom library labels in bright polka dot. They come with smaller labels to be printed on address label sheets (Avery size 8460 or 5160). These small labels should be cut and placed on the back of the books, so that your students know which bin the book belongs to. I have bundled this file to include a Word version of 8 blank labels with text boxes. It also includes the Word version of the mini-labels. I would cut and paste the mini-labels you need to save on ink.

Do you sell the classroom label in the Primary Polka Dot pattern? I'm looking for the labels such as glue, pencils, markers, crayons, etc. but not only word but picture of the item as well.

Hi Erica,
I wrote you on 11/11, to ask what the size of the book bin labels are. I just bought the bins from Lakeshore, and I want to make sure they will fit. I will have to tape them on, and there is a piece of plastic on the bin, that may get in the way. I also wanted to buy your leveled labels, and I would need the size on them also. As soon as you send me an answer, I would like to buy both sets, and go and label my library on our Thanksgiving break.

Sorry, I have been dealing with a lot here and it forgot to measure. I just did and the big labels are 4 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. The small ones are half the size of a standard address label.

I used the editable word document to create labels for categories that you don't have, however I'm not sure how to make the matching small labels for my new categories. Is there a way to easily do that? I have 5 categories I need to create matching labels for. Thanks for your help!

You need to be able to take a screen shot of the the larger labels and insert it as a graphic in the small labels. Google how to take a screen shot using your specific type of computer. Then after you take the screen shot remember where it is saved. For example, when I go to insert the screen shot into the small labels, I have to go to "Insert Picture from File" and then search my desktop for the file. If it is too hard for you to do, you could just use color dots from an office supply store to label the back of those books. Then put a color dot on the front of the label.

Hi! LOVE these labels. I was using the editable ones for my leveled book baskets and have coordinating guided reading colors. Any chance you can make some in pink and light blue (or a different blue shade?) Those bins were from RGS!
