My "draw it, solve it, write the fact" lessons have been so popular, I am posting this addition for free as a thank you to all my customers. The file contains a teacher's notes page and 11 "draw it, solve it, write the fact" pages. I use the first one for modeling. Each page has a simple addition story problem, an area to "draw it" and a space to write the fact. Pages can be printed and copied so students record at their seats OR have them solve on slates and place the printed pages in a center for extra practice. Help your K-2 students learn how to solve problems adding 3 numbers (sums are under 20). Lisa Rombach

I have kids that do not know their addition and subtraction and some of their IEP goals are solving story problems. This will help out greatly. Plus I am a first year teacher and still trying to figure things out. Thanks again.

I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. Your products look professional and are high quality for the price you are asking. I left you a rating. Well done! I only wish that so many of your products were not for the Smart Board. The only "smart" board I have is white!
I have a couple of suggestions that might help you to better market this product. You might add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages.
I know you teach the primary grades, but I’d appreciate your input on my freebie listed below. I like to get input from many different teachers.

Hi Jill - I'm not sure about that. I have read about other teachers converting smart notebook files with other interactive whiteboard software but I'm not sure which kind will do it. I would suggest downloading the freebie smartboard file and seeing if there is something in your ActivInsipire software that will open other types of files or convert them. If not, there is always google :-) Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I only have smart notebook software so I'm not sure how the other whiteboard software works. Good Luck and thanks for your interest in my lesson!!!
