Teacher Tam's Beginning Readers, Set 3 of 3--10 Books for guided reading Phonics books for beginning and emergent readers The third set builds upon what was learned in the previous two sets, adding long vowel sounds.
Set 1 is for use in preschool and kindergarten. Set 2 is for kindergarten and first grade levels. Set 3 readers are on a first grade level. All of the beginning readers are phonics-based. Each book includes 4 pages to copy and 12 pages of print for the child. The entire set is 40 pages.
Listed in order with word family covered and sight words, the books in Set 3 include:

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for almost 13 years, most of them spent teaching pre-K and kindergarten. I also have experience teaching up to 3rd grade. I have used my love of reading to develop a set of 30 phonics-based beginning reading books for use in preschool-first grade. In addition, I have developed sets of reading games and math games that can be used in the classroom or as take-home activities and can be adjusted to address various skill levels. I also have a range of hands on, cut-and-glue materials which keep young students engaged. They have proven to be a success in my own classroom and I'm excited to share them on Teachers Pay Teachers!
