This file contains 24 different Bingo cards with various marble bags. The call cards represent probabilities expressed in:
*words (i.e. one in five),
*fractions (1/10th),
*percentages (10%),
* and decimals (.10).
Options for play:
*whole group using a mixture of the different types of probability expressions
* whole group using only one type of expression (you can filter the call cards any way you'd like)
*divide your class into small groups according to their understanding of probability concepts (i.e. some kids may understand all four types of expressions; other kids may need to work on a specific type of expression).
Each card has multiple representations of probabilities for each type of marble, so you also have the option of calling the probability for a specific type of marble (i.e. 1 in 5 BLACK), or you can let the kids strategize on their own.
Designed for visual/ kinesthetic learners, this activity is perfect for whole groups, math centers, or small group instruction.

I like that there is some choice to the bingo instead of just calling a number and them marking it. I like that there is a little bit of strategy involved.

I have 11 years of experience as an educational psychologist. I specialize in developing materials for visual-spatial learners, including children with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. I make sure my materials have fonts and images that are easy to read and interpret, layouts that are not visually cluttered, and formatting that helps kids understand what they are supposed to do. I also make sure my products have written instructions that are as simply worded as possible to aid independence.
