Probability LocoMotion Game-This is a great way to get your students up and moving. You will need to make 1 copy, laminate, and cut the cards apart. To play the game set up in a large open space either inside or outside. You will need cones or cups-something to mark where the cards are located. Then either in pairs or alone, students move from cone to cone solving the problems. I have my students take a piece of paper, clipboard, and pencil with them to do this activity. After, playing the game students come to the center of the circle where we check the answers. The file also includes answer cards. Created by Mary Griffith.
I look forward to using this activity with approx. 75-100 third graders (not all at the same time). It seems like a fun, engaging way to review and practice probability.
