Basic notes for students studying the main concepts of the reason for the beginning of the Reformation. These notes correspond directly with the powerpoint "Problems with the Catholic Church". Notes outline the basic problems of the Catholic church during the Renaissance, and Middle Ages in general, then show who wanted to reform the church (major reformers John Hus, Wycliff, and Martin Luther). Notes also discuss Martin Luther's view of indulgences and how Johannes Gutenberg's Printing Press helped to spread Luther's ideas.
