This file is a companion to Process Geomorphology by Ritter, Kochel, and Miller. The file contains Google Earth placemarks for each of the figures in the book. Many of the figures have been located exactly, others show the region depicted or an alternate example of the landform in the picture.
In my teaching, I have found Google Earth to be a great tool. This file allows you to lead the students on a more interactive tour of geomorphology than the book alone. In some cases it helps add context to what the book has to say about a region. In other cases it allows a more detailed investigation of the landform.
