Instead of doing your basic "How to Make a Peanut Butter Sandwich" paragraph, try this assignment! For this project, students will watch a video on the internet and record information about how an item is made. After completing the worksheet, students write a description of how the product is made or complete another project of your choice. This product includes the websites needed to complete the assignment and a half sheet worksheet for students to complete while watching their videos.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for more than 25 years. During this time, I taught math and computers at the junior high level and computers at the elementary level. I also worked as a mentor teacher and technology coordinator where I trained teachers on using technology in their classrooms. I have started a page on Facebook where I or anyone can add tips for integrating curriculum and technology. Search for "Technology for Teachers" and click the "Like" button to get tips. Finally, click below to view my site highlighting websites to use with students: https://sites.google.com/site/techandteachers/home
