Mrs. Miner's Monkey Business presents a great unit on the Pumpkin Lifecycle to use with elementary students. The basis of this kit is learning how to draw a pumpkin with step by step pictorial and/or written directions. Once students do that, they can use their newfound talent to draw pumpkins in a lifecycle book that they can read and do many different sequencing activities. There is a sequencing cut and glue (one with and one without numbers), a paper plate activity, and even a necklace. There are also cut outs for children to put on popsicle sticks to retell lifecycles stories (like Pumpkin Jack) or just go through the cycle. I have also included 2 informal assessments: one is for younger children to draw and the other is to write about what they have learned about the pumpkin lifecycle. This activity will be great right up until Thanksgiving! Please don't forget to leave feedback upon purchase!
