This project introduces students to a real world problem using the pythagorean theorem. Students are asked to find the perimeter of their large yard and compare price quotes from two companies who have made a bid for the job.
The work is relatively simple and is perfectly suited for Algebra I and Geometry students. It's a short project that could even be given for a homework assignment or in-class activity. The topics covered include the pythagorean theorem, perimeter, plotting points, and finding sales tax.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE FORGIVE ME. I entered feedback on your product that was meant for another pythagorean theorem product. I cannot figure out how to delete it. I LOVE your project and only figured out that I entered the wrong feedback when I went to give you A+ feedback. Please tell me how to delete the incorrect feedback. I tried and was unable to figure it out. I even tried to post another feedback to explain my mistake and it won't let me do that. I'm going to email TPT and ask them what to do as well. I am SO sorry.
