This file contains question cards with 24 simple, beginning reading questions. This is a great activitiy to increase student engagement and can be used to connect to many different skills. Copy on to cardstock and cut out individual cards. Pass out a card each student and have them "interview" their classmates by reading the the question and listening to each person's response. Use these question cards to improve student fluency and reading rate, improve sight word vocabulary, teach asking and telling sentence types, and to improve student speaking and listening skills. Use the cards to improve student writing by giving each student a question and having them copy the question and then write a response.
