In an effort to conserve paper, but still make the smaller pieces easy to handle because of their universal size, there are six tickets on one page, so with just 5 copies, you have enough for a class of 30 students. I personally kept these cut and copied, so they were available for a once a week ticket out.
The second question on the ticket asks students to brainstorm a warm-up question over the content just covered. I would always choose 2 or 3 of the suggested questions, and use them the next day for the warm-up (with credit to the student creator - of course). My students enjoyed that little bit of notarity.
Something simple enough, but easy to use to bring closure to a lesson.
