These are 24 sentences using quotations. I have them printed on bright colorful paper and then laminated. I use these as individual or partner activities. The kids are given a handful of macaroni and have to place the commas and quotation marks in the correct areas. I walk around to check, and then they exchange papers and do a new one. This is a huge hit in my classroom, so I wanted to share!
I know the packet said quotations and commas, but I really thought there would be more variety in the comma part, such as commas in greetings and closings of letters, commas in the date, city/state etc. Do you have cards with those on it as well?
Thanks, Katy
I'm so sorry. It is just commas within quotations. I never meant for it to be misleading, but I still hope you can use it. I will work on some comma usage cards possibly this evening. Stay tuned!
I was already planning on doing this activity. I am so glad I searched and found sentences already made! I'm going to use fruit loops for quotation marks and elbow maccaronni for the commas. I'm calling them Tooty Fruity Hooties. I'm going to have mine go ahead and glue them down. Just for fun. I'm so excited!!

Hi! I purchased this activity, but I can't download it. Seems like a great lesson for my 2nd graders. Could you please forward me the activity via email? Lopez4mc@cox.net
Thank you so much for your help!
