Your students will have so much fun learning about place value with this Race to 50 or 100 game. Students use base-10 blocks, dice, and gameboards to try and be the first person to trade in 10 longs for a flat (100).
Included are directions for making the game and gameboards for both Race to 50 and Race to 100 games.
Thank you! I'm planning to use this early in our place value unit. I love this game but was worried about making sure students understand when they need to trade cubes for longs. You solved this potential problem with your eye catching game boards.
You saved the day for me! I couldn't find my Race to 100 file today and was going to redo it but then thought about checking on TPT and there yours was...and cuter!
I printed it off, made copies and the kids had a blast (and did a very good job) playing the game!

Love this and it goes with our new GO Math. I can't wait to use it this week! Thanks so much for your willingness to share!!
Love it! This is a quick and easy game to set up and teach the kids to better their understanding of regrouping! I'm excited to introduce this game just before I start teaching regrouping in a couple of weeks! Thanks!

I am unable to view the directions on my MAC. Could you possibly send me a copy of the instructions for the Race to 100 (50) Game in a Word document? brodie@lincolnk12.org
