We use the colors of the rainbow for many different projects in our class, including our spelling rainbow words. I teach my students the order of the colors using the mnemonic name, Roy G. Biv (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet). I made these handy reminder stickers so I don't have to write the colors in order every time. It also gives them a reference since the color names are printed in that color. My students usually stick them inside their center or spelling folders for future reference. There are 10 colorful stickers on one page.

I have been teaching for 17 years at the same school in Mandeville, Louisiana. I taught 1st grade for six years and have taught 2nd grade for eleven years.
