Help your students SEE skip counting patterns on a hundred chart. This Rainbow Skip Counting Pack includes materials to help students learn to skip count to 100 by 2, 5, and 10.
The charts included in this pack use the colors of the rainbow to help students stay on the correct skip counting path and reduce the confusion of which row they are counting across. Skip the black numbers on the full-color reference charts and only count the colored numbers. Students will start at the top pink row of the chart and make their across and down to the purple row (just like a rainbow!)
In this set you will find materials to make 3 large classroom skip counting charts (simply print the two-page combo, glue both 8.5x11” sheets together, and mount onto 12x18” construction paper.)
Also included are matching letter-size charts to print in full-color and laminate for student reference and use.
Finally, two student practice pages are included for each skip counting number set. The pages are intended for students to use crayons, colored pencils, or markers and “rainbow write” in colored rows across the chart, in the same way that the class chart demonstrates. One page simply asks students to trace the skip counting numbers, the second page requires students to provide their own missing number. PERFECT FOR DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION!
Since skip-counting by 2s is more challenging for young learners, this set includes additional pages that only require children to skip count to 40 by 2s (skip counting to 100 is included as well.)
