**This center is included in my rainbow math and literacy centers pack**
In this center, the students will build sight words using rainbow colored letter tiles. They will then write the words on their response sheet using colored pencils or markers to match the colors on the tiles that they used to build the words. There are 2, 3, and 4 letter sight words included in this center. Also included are blank work mats to program additional words and a response sheet.
update-I have included an updated version that will allow you to print without using so much ink:) There are 2 folders-one contains the old version and the other contains the new version.
Katie, one of our classroom walls is painted with a large rainbow mural; my kinders enjoyed this activity! :-)Chrissy

I can't wait to have the children do this word work activity. We have had so much rain lately. I am ready for some sun and rainbows.

Thank you Katie! These are gorgeous and my kids will like the practice. Thank you for creating a set without the green background so that I can save on ink. You are awesome!
Really great center for my prek kids. Even if they can't read the word - they are working on letter skills when they match the letters. Great unit :)

Hi Katie! I love this center and the colors are beautiful! I am just concerned about printing it with so much green in the background. Is there anyway to have it without the green background, but keep the colorful rainbow? My hubby is overwhelmed with the amount of ink I am going through! If this can't be done, I will print it anyway because I do love it! Thank you!
I'm sorry!!!!! This was one of the first centers I made last year!!! I REALLY wish this was a super easy fix!!!! But, I made it in a program that I don't have anymore:( I WILL remake it....but I won't have it for atleast a couple of days. When do you need it by???? I know what you mean about the ink:( My husband is about to kill me...I keep reminding him that after I print them all out this year-I will have them forever!!;) One thing I've done to save on ink is to go to printing properties and set it to "Draft" or "Fast economical printing" The quality is slightly lower-but the kids don't notice and it saves a ton of ink!! Please email me and let me know when you need this center by:)
UPDATE-I Revised it! You can download it again and there will be 2 folders. Click on the one that says save ink:) Hope it works out better for you:)
