Do you have the students respond in a notebook and do you assess each section or the entire thing when students have completed. I teach 6th grade language arts and I will have one gifted class. This seems like the perfect thing to challenge them.

Yes, my students have a reader response notebook which they use throughout the year. I assess responses periodically - and sometimes we do peer and self evaluations, as well.

No, it is a different product. The comp binder does have some questions for each strategy, but the reading response product has many more questions and the rubrics. Thank-you for your interest!
