A perfect addition to reading workshop! Students are engaged with their reading notebook and reading binder during independent reading time. There are two components to this file- My Reading Binder and My Reader's Notebook.
Student Reading binder and notebook:
-TONS of pictures for how to use the binder and notebook in your classroom
-Cover pages (several options are included: a black/white option and also a color “boy” and color “girl” option)
- Table of contents (for if you use tabs or folders for your notebooks)

Thanks so much for your message. We are happy to help! Rockin' Reading Workshop focuses on using a reading workshop approach to teach your students to be independent readers. This is a teacher resource guide and helps you with getting reading workshop established in your classroom and teaching effective mini-lesssons. The Reader's Notebook is more of a resource for students, not the teacher. The notebook is geared towards independent readers who are capable of organizing their reading materials in a notebook and binder. My students use the notebook instead of literacy centers during their independent reading time. It has examples, pictures, and resources for reading response letters, mini-lessons, and the categories for the binder.

We revised the Reader's Notebook over the summer and it has a lot of graphics/clipart and pictures- too large to put together. I also teach third grade.
