This is a Reader's Theater about Annie Oakley. It is for 4 girls. This is one tall tale that is mostly true. It takes place with girls from the modern day being able to interview Annie. This is part of the small group reader's theaters that I run to improve fluency. It can be quite funny hearing students trying out a Texas twang for the first time. My name is Melanie Whitesides and I hope that you enjoy this. It ties in a little Social Studies with our Reading.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am now heading into my third year of teaching but my 11th Year of working with schools. I teach a 99% American Indian class. They are 90% ELL and the problem that we face each day is low literacy and low math skills. I've written childrens and young adult books as well as poetry but have not found myself an agent yet to help publish them.
