This mini lesson includes a comprehensive list (that includes my own students' input) of what good readers do.
It also includes an ABC brainstorm chart that I use at the begining and end of the lesson.
I ask students to first brain storm alphabetically with their partner what are some things good readers do.
Next, we generate a class list on the board.
Then each student complete their chart with the ideas we came up with as a class, and fill in the blanks in their chart.
Ask A Teacher's Treasure a question. They will receive an automated email and will return to answer you as soon as possible.
