Partners practice reading large numbers to the hundred billions. One player reads the number they land on. The other player finds the matching answer card that shows the number written in short word form. If the player reads it correctly, he stays on that space. If not, he/she returns to his/her previous space. The first player that reaches "Finish" wins. You will need one die and two game pieces for each set of partners. I use a variety of items I have in my classroom. IMPORTANT NOTE: You must download the FREE file I have posted here of matching game cards that go with this board game. I put the answer card strips on rings to keep them in letter order so they are easy to find when checking partner answers.
