This is the fifth of a series. After going through all the oral work of identifying sounds, the student writes in the initial and final sounds. Again, the student needs a companion who can read and write. The child is not expected to know the spelling rules; where knowledge of the rule helps, it is written in. The exercises can been done orally. All of the booklets in the series can be used as review in "centre" work or "fun" for more advanced students.

Help
I have had a wide range of teaching experience from non-readers to first year university writing.
