This set of reading strategy cards are specific to the needs of strategies taught in kindergarten. Compare them to the strategies seen in the Daily 5 CAFE program by the Two Sisters.

Cards each have the strategy listed along with a picture cue to clue students in to what it means. These cards come with and organizational list to help you organize the cards into categories such as Comprehension to help you organize them in a way in which your students can get the best benefit.

I love your work!! I am going to start Daily 5 and CAFE this year in my classroom. I also am redoing my theme with black and red with white polka dots. I am wondering if you could do the RED Polka Dot theme with the CAFE strategies? This would be perfect!!! I teach 4th grade and am not sure that the 1 & 2 strategies are the same. Also, since this is my first year with this approach, I'd like to stick with the same phrases. THanks!

I love the Polka Dot (Red) CAFE headers that you have for FREE, but I am not sure what KINDER strategy cards will go with these. The Polka Dot Strategy cards state they are for 1st/2nd. I was thinking that the Ladybug Strategy cards would match, but I can't tell. What strategy cards would you use to match the Polka Dot (Red) Cafe Cards for KINDER???

In the time, I have taught kindergarten, first, second and fourth grade. I have my Bachelors in Elementary Education and my Master's in Educational Administration.
