This file contains 24 worksheets I have created (four each for the six stories) plus a direction sheet for Scott Foresman Reading Street for Grade 1 Unit 2. The stories included are: A Big Fish for Max, The Farmer in the Hat, Who Works Here?, The Big Circle, Life in the Forest, and Honeybees. Each story has the following worksheets:
* Making Words: A making words sheet with cut apart letters and an answer key.
* Rainbow Words: Students rainbow write their spelling words inside a cloud. (Have students write their spelling word in pencil and then trace over the pencil in three different crayons.)
* Scrabble Spelling: Students add the value of their spelling words on the scrabble tiles.
* Word Search: Students find the 10 spelling words hidden in a word search.
Files are PDFS in a ZIP file.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I've been teaching for seven years. I taught in a 2nd and 3rd grade multiage class for one year. I ran our school computer lab and taught technology lessons to all students in K-5 for two years. The 2012-2013 school year will be my fifth year teaching first grade, and love it!
