super cute! Thanks for sharing (and for making it free!) It added a little bit of fun to my otherwise drab data binder! :)
Thank you very much for creating this. I love the look...it's very whimsical :) I think of myself as pretty "tech-savy" but I still can't figure out how to make the side of the binder... Thanks again for creating such a great freebie. I will be sure to check out your other products.

Samantha,
I love how you included the different size labels for different size binders. I too, am trying to stay organized this year. Also, I like how you have a teaching point for each student, have you considered adding a goal as well? Carl Anderson had suggested this during a workshop on conferring with students during writer's workshop. Also, I remember on Beth Newingham's website (I absolutely loved but cannot find it now :( ) she had used labels. I plan on using a clip board to keep the whole class together as I confer and then peel the labels off and place in a binder where each students has his/her own section. In the past, I was cutting and pasting this which took up my time. Thanks for your excellent ideas! Please keep them coming!
Excellent idea! I love the additional sheets you provided. Can you e-mail me at dmarazzo-capua@sbcglobal.net to let me know what you used to create it?
I used Powerpoint .. that is what I use to create everything! You can find clipart everywhere.. even here at TPT! :)

Thanks for all the reading forms and binder cover. This is my last year of teaching, but I still want everything to look great! Again , thanks!
That's awesome that you are still putting in that effort for your kiddos in your last year. Good luck in all your future endeavors and thank you for the work you've done as a teacher!

I've been lookiing for a way to do this without just writing it in a notebook and this makes it easier to see what, who, when
This is an INCREDIBLY HELPFUL resource!
Thank you so, so much for sharing it with us!!!

I teach second grade. I have since adapted a new reading log, perhaps I will update the file with that. It calls for the page number they end on rather than # of pages read and instead of having a spot for the minilesson on the log, they have a whole section in their reading binders for minilesson notes and resources.

I used your Data Binder Sheet this year and loved it! I would like to update the date to 2013-2014. How can I do this? I have been unable to edit it?
I've had lots of questions about this! These sheets are not editable, however I plan on finding a way to update them. It will take me some time, because the laptop I created them on as well as my backup drive, were stolen from my house in November. I have to recreate the file, but I will work on that! :)

I'm just wondering if you have these in a format that I can edit so I can add my class' names. Thanks!
