Reading to Learn About Bugs includes writing worksheets for ten different bugs, and one worksheet for students who choose to write about a bug that is not in the packet.
Bugs included are: bee, butterfly, caterpillar, dragonfly, grasshopper, beetle, ladybug, ant, centipede, and mosquito.
After reading non-fiction books about bugs, students write three facts about a bug. They illustrate their writing and read it to two friends.
These worksheets can be used as science or literacy center activities, writing assignments, or during your writing block.
