This 9-slide PowerPoint presentation contains six different real-life scenarios faced by animals in my community in Michigan. An accompanying worksheet allows students to "think like the animal" and decide what would be the best choice for each challenge (behavioral adaptations). Colorful photos and graphics are used throughout the lesson and there is an animated "congratulations page" at the end. This is a great partner activity as it allows students to discuss possilbe actions taken by animals in real-life situations. An answer key is provided which gives the ending to each mini-story. This is a zipped file which contains a PDF of the worksheet and answer key, plus the PowerPoint.
